Rip it Up! offers a range of Agility lessons as well as a Basic pet Obedience class.
All are designed with both the dog and handler in mind. All classes recieve weekly handouts to eliminate the need for note taking!
Class size will be limited to 6 on a first come first served basis.

This class is designed to teach owners how to train their dogs. Behaviors to be learned are: Sit, Down, Come vs. Let's go, Stay, Leave it and Heel. These are basic foundation skills for any well behaved pet. However this is NOT a cookie cutter class! Besides the listed behaviors, the class will be customized by the students themselves! At the end of each lesson I will ask the class if there are any behaviors they want covered at the next class. (Trash raiding, barking, High 5, roll over) This ensures that no two obedience classes are completely alike! At Graduation (the last class), each dog/owner will undergo a Basic Obedience test. It is not to show how good or bad a dog is, but to show you the dog's level of obedience performance. Graduates will receive a BPO diploma.

Intermediate Agility III is an 8 week course designed to tie all the skills learned from all courses together. Dogs are tested to see how well they learned the names of obstacles, in order to take the correct obstacles at a distance. Courses are set up with 'traps' where the dog must choose which obstacle to take. By learning obstacle discrimination, dogs will be able to work at a distance which is essential in a trial or competition. Full size competition courses will be used.
